The Ring of Brodgar is a Neolithic henge and stone circle about 6 miles north-east of Stromness on Orkney Island.
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is sometimes referred to a the "Heart of Neolithic Orkney."
Access to the site is free and there is ample parking across the hiway.
Walking on the site is relatively level.
There is usually a trailer on the site with Visitor Information.
